1. What/who inspires you in life and in design?

I love all aspects of design-creating, researching, the thrill of the find, and other creative people are all very intoxicating.

2. How would your mother describe your decorating style?

I am a modern classisist with an exotic flair.

3. When did you decide/what made you decide to become a designer?

As far back as I can remember I have always been passionate about design and interiors especially.

4. Most people become totally overwhelmed when it comes to choosing paint colors for their home. Any basic advice for the color challenged?

Living with sample colors first to see how they react to the lights and darks in your room.

5. What has been your oddest client request?

To tell them what toilet paper I would recommend.

6. Who has been the most influential person in your design career?

I have two: Robert Couturier and Bunny Williams both of whom I had the immense pleasure of working for.

7. What design websites do you find yourself constantly coming back to?

1st dibs and any site I can find at the time to do research on.

8. What made you decide to open a store in Hudson, NY?

When I travel I always find items that I love and knowing that things are getting harder to obtain I bought things along the way and decided to share my viewpoint via a store.

9. What's your favorite design book- something that you always refer to when you need some help or inspiration?

Jansen always comes to mind.

10. What is your favorite piece of furniture in your own home?

I found these really large, classical shaped aptware vases in the south of France with amazing greens, blues and earthtones that are of such a beauty.
